first off, congrats to Top Gear for being Britain's favourite TV programme of the decade... for the benefit of those who don't know, Top Gear is a popular show about cars hosted by three funny dudes and they have a tame racing driver called The Stig...

back to the topic..
the latest season of Top Gear which airs currently is said by their fans to be not up to par as of their previous seasons... it's said that they are not producing the kind of shows they've been producing before and that they have run out of ideas for a good show... it kinda predictable to say the least... when i watched the current season i feel like i have seen some parts before.. sort of a deja vu moment really... we can't blame them actually.. it is difficult for a series which is in their 14th season to come up with new ways, fresh ideas to please the audiences...
but after watching the latest episode (i watched twice actually), i was impressed... it is the South America special whereby they are given tasks and challenges as usual but this time they are in Bolivia.. the three of them started off in the middle of the Amazon rainforest and they have to travel to the Pacific Ocean.. and to get there, they have to travel through thick forest, rivers, deserts, death road etc... you just have to watch it yourself and feel the awesomeness yourself... there's this one part when Jeremy Clarkson was driving literally at the edge of the death road and at one point i thought that he was going to fall...
here's how the road look like... it's scary indeed..
what makes this episode special is that is has the usual humourous parts that can make you really laugh and at the same they have fresh contents to keep you glued to the screen... it's not like all the other Top Gear specials that i have watched... Top Gear truly has redeemed itself despite their disappointing start to the series... well done Top Gear... *thumbs up*
that being the final episode for the year i'm certain that fans will be looking forward to more episodes and specials that is up to the same standard as the South America Special if not better...
i'll end this with a "best of Top Gear" video i found on youtube.. fans of Top Gear, enjoy!!
if you're not a fan, you should be a fan... :D :D :D
